ERIE, Pa. — After a series of freeze-thaw cycles, the break from winter weather conditions is allowing PennDOT a chance to repair roads.
On Tuesday, crews were seen filling potholes on stretches of I-90 in Erie County with cold patch.
In Erie County, workers have also been concentrating on routes 5, 20, 426 and 531, according to PennDOT.
A spokesperson said in the following days, motorists could expect to see workers on state roads from 4 a.m. until 8 p.m.
PennDOT is reminding drivers to remain alert and slow down in work zones.
