While some people enjoyed Easter dinner at home, others indulged at local restaurants.
The owner of Colony Pub and Grill on West 8th Street, Kevin camp, says he expected around 700 people to dine in with them Sunday for brunch.
He says they see a lot of people make Easter lunch a tradition at Colony, but he says they also have a lot of people come for the first time.
Brenda Esposito and her family is one of those first timers and says it’s great all 16 relatives could come together and enjoy great food.
Esposito says, “We’re happy to be with them and celebrating Easter. It’s wonderful. It’s wonderful.”
Camp says, “For the most part, everyone’s cooperative, everyone’s happy. You know the kids – we had the Easter bunny here earlier so it was kind of fun.”
Camp says Easter is right around their third busiest day of the year.
