Pets allowed in dorms of two PA universities in 2019...

Students at a Central Pennsylvania University will soon have roommates of a different kind; a furry kind.  And, one local university is following suit.

Lock Haven University is announcing that, starting in the spring of 2019, students will be allowed to keep pets in their dorm rooms.  The list includes dogs, cats, and rabbits; reptiles will not be permitted.

The university saying the decision will help students better deal with stress and anxiety, overall, enhancing their college experience. 

Edinboro University just coming to an agreement on a similar program.  They will be allowing pets in single room dorms beginning in the fall of 2019.
