Pizza Hut charity golf event raises $15,000 for Hope on Horseback

Local News

A local pizza shop continuing to help kids in need in the community. Pizza Hut is presenting a check of nearly $15,000 to Hope on Horseback.

The funds come from the annual ‘Raising Dough for Kids’ charity golf tournament.  Hope on Horseback provides safe equine activities for people with physical, mental, and emotional disabilities.  They also have programs for veterans, cancer patients, and victims of crimes.

Kimberly Danylko, Program Director Hope on Horseback, tells us, “We don’t turn anybody away from riding so this helps scholarships and helps support our horses and our whole program. It’s really wonderful of them to do that and we can really count on them.”

Gregory Davis, President of Atlantic Development Corporation and Pizza Hut, says, “It makes you feel good. You just see the work that these organizations do.”

Since the beginning of the ‘Raising Dough for Kids’ program, Pizza Hut has donated close to half-a-million dollars back to local non-profits.
