PNC president addresses challenges

Local News

Challenges facing the banking sector and strategies for growth in sluggish economic times are the center of a monthly briefing this morning.

PNC’s new regional president, Jim Stevenson, was the guest speaker at the Manufacturer and Business Association’s Eggs and Issues Even, discussing the modern economy.

He says the American economy is affected by what he calls “macro factors,” things like dollar strength, commodity pressures and activity in China.

Stevenson was named to the position after former Regional President Marlene Mosco retired in February of this year.
