Police say speeds reached 120 miles per hour in a chase that began in Pennsylvania and ended in New York State.
Erie Police attempted to stop a car for a traffic violation just before noon on Saturday. The car fled onto the Bayfront Connector, then east on Interstate 90 and Interstate 86. The chase finally ended on I-86 near Sherman, New York, when the suspect’s car crashed.
Two people were transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Erie Police say that both had outstanding warrants and now face a number of additional charges.
