Police probe east Erie credit union robbery

ERIE, Pa. — Erie police are searching for two suspects after an armed robbery at an east Erie credit union on Wednesday.

Police said two males, believed to be in their 20s, robbed the Erie Federal Credit Union, 2436 Buffalo Road, at gunpoint around 12:30 p.m.

The two men fled the scene on foot south toward Harrison Street.

No other details on the robbery were available. 

The same credit union was also robbed on July 14. Police charged Billy Ray Gordon, 57, with attempted robbery in that incident.
