Police release photo of van from fatal hit and run on Buffalo Rd, still searching for suspect

City of Erie Police are continuing to follow up on tips about the van that struck and killed a six-year-old boy.

Police Chief Dan Spizarny saying they have received more than 50 tips on the silver minivan that allegedly was driven in the hit and run incident that killed Nyon Warren in the 1800 block of Buffalo Road.

Investigators have released a picture of the vehicle.

The hit and run happening as Warren and his brother were crossing the street on the night of April 3rd.  Warren was taken to UPMC Hamot where he was pronounced dead.

Spizarny says, “We’re still getting calls. I took a call personally. Someone called about the potential car involved. All of the tips are passed along to the detectives assigned the case.”
