ERIE, Pa. -- Community leaders and law enforcement are identifying priorities for improving relations between police and residents.
The City of Erie is reviewing finding from the U.S. Department of Justice’s Strengthening Police and Community Partnerships meeting in April.
Erie Police Chief Dan Spizarny said, "We're talking about it and that's the important thing. We're working towards making it better. You can't do it overnight. You can't do it in one shot."
The Strengthening Police and Community Partnerships Council represents various groups. Spizary said they have been meeting about every two weeks.
