Erie police are looking for a suspect after a woman was slashed in the city.
The victim, a 19-year-old woman, told police she left Emmaus Soup Kitchen just before 5 o’clock Monday evening and noticed a man following her. After losing sight of him, the man reappeared in the 400 block of East 11th Street.
According to Erie police, he started yelling at the woman and slashed her across the cheek with a box cutter. She was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police did question some individuals, but no charges have been filed. The investigation continues this morning.
