If you haven’t checked out the Polish Festival, you need to do it this weekend. This is the 24th year for the Polish Festival known as Zabawa.
The festival began as a simple idea to bring people to the Holy Trinity Parish and Church Grounds on Reed Street. The event has grown every year since its conception.
For three days, everyone has the opportunity to enjoy Polish culture, including food, entertainment and music. This event helps raise money for the church and the parishioners look forward to helping to make it a success. “It’s amazing how this festival pulls all our people into this place, working day after day. If someone said you never realize your faith until you sweat it out in 90 degree temperatures putting this up,” says Ray Lluniewski, Co-chair of the event.
The Zabawa Polish Heritage Festival kicks off tonight at 5pm. From 12pm to 10pm on Saturday. From 12pm to 6pm on Sunday.
Admission is free.
