Erie police say they have a possible suspect in custody, who they believe is responsible for an overnight shooting.
Police believe a 28-year-old man is to blame for a shooting that happened on 700 block of East 25th street around midnight Thursday.
Police say the victim, a 23-year-old man was shot once in his side after bullets flew through the window of his home.
The man that police believe is responsible was arrested for a sheriff’s warrent and currently sits in erie county prison.
He has not been charged with the shooting.
Police say the victim is not cooperating with the investigation
The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening, but he was transported to upmc hamot for treatment and has since been released.
