Prayer vigil planned for shooting victim

The community will remember the life of a man, as Erie police continue to investigate his death.

De’Andre Carter was shot at West 4th and Plum streets one month ago, on April 30th.
According to police, Carter was shot in the chest after a disturbance in a nearby tavern.
Carter was flown to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, where he later died from his injuries.

The take back the site vigil will begin at 5:15p.m., and will last about 15 minutes.
Police are still investigating the shooting.
