Rep. Flo Fabrizio diagnosed with form of pancreatic cancer

ERIE, Pa. — Rep. Flo Fabrizio has been diagnosed with a form of pancreatic cancer and will undergo chemotherapy, according to a news release Thursday.

After testing with specialists and oncologists in Erie and Pittsburgh, it was determined that he should undergo a regimen of chemotherapy shorty, he said in the release.

“While undergoing treatment, I intend to continue to serve my constituents and the people of Pennsylvania,” he said in the news release. “As always, my excellent staffs both in Erie and Harrisburg will be available to handle all constituent needs.”

Fabrizio is the Democratic chairman of the House of Health Committee. He will be in Harrisburg when the House returns to session next week.
