Retail theft suspect wanted for allegedly stealing more than $4,000 worth of items/assault

On 1/4 around 11:15, the Millcreek Township Police Department was called to Macy’s in the Millcreek Mall.  The loss prevention department reported two black, female suspects were in the store who were wanted for a theft that occurred in the store on 12/18.

LP told police that the women took $4,369.43 worth of merchandise.  When officers arrived, they tell us the suspects were confronted about the incident.  One of the female suspects ended up assaulting an officer and was taken into custody.  The other female suspect bit the LP employee and fled the store.  

Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the other suspect.  

The woman taken into custody was identified as Sequoia Arrington of Erie.  Arrington was taken to the police department where she was later arraigned in front of Judge Ferrick.
