Today’s rains and the upcoming holiday are delaying renovations for a busy west county intersection. The project began Monday at the intersection of Route 98 and Route 832 in Fairview Township.
Most of that work so far is installing pipes off the roadway, work that has been hampered by today’s rains. Because PennDOT restricts work during busy holiday travel, time delays are expected next week as well. The $320,000 project is completely funded with federal dollars and is now expected to take several weeks.
No detours are planned.
