Saint Luke students represent presidents and first ladies in living museum

Local News

The students of Saint Luke take their history lesson to another level.  Two fourth grade classes at Saint Luke School in Erie recently learned about our country’s presidents and first ladies.  As part of the lesson, the students each chose a first lady or president to represent in a living museum.

Fourth Grade Teacher Cindy Stormer tells us, “I think it’s very important.  Especially because I think, on Presidents’ Day, they don’t really know why they have the day off.  So, learning what they learned, I’m hoping that maybe that brings history to life for them.”

Many of the kids say they really enjoyed embodying historic people in a fun and interactive way.
