Salvation Army honors soldiers with Donut Day

Workers with the Salvation Army passed out donuts to honor local heroes on Friday.  It has been a long-standing tradition created by the Salvation Army in 1938.  The holiday pays tribute to those who served the tasty treats to soldiers during World War I.
