The former deputy assistant to President Trump was in Erie on Wednesday to discuss his time in the white house.
Sebastian Gorka spoke at the Jefferson Educational Society’s Global Summit event. He spoke about understanding the president’s policies and what the recent mid-term elections might mean for the president’s 2020 campaign. Gorka also commented on Jeff Session’s resignation on Wednesday, saying it was a good thing for America. He also talked about the Tree of Life shooting that claimed the lives of 11 people in Pittsburgh.
“This is the president who recognized Jerusalem and moved our embassy,” said Gorka. “We have the most pro-Jewish, pro-Israeli white house, so I think we’ll see some serious action on dealing with the anti-Semitism today. “
While Gorka was met with support, there were protesters outside of the Jefferson as he spoke.
