A semitrailer hauling a load of mulch overturned while making the turn onto Interstate 90 from Peach Street on Thursday morning.
Police got the call just after 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
The truck was far enough off of Peach Street that it did not impede traffic, but there was a lot of mulch to be cleaned off the roadway.
“Not sure exactly what happened, maybe the load shifted or something and he overturned it,” Perry Hi-Way Hose Co. Cheif Kip Hayford said. “He got himself out, he was not hurt at all. Just got some mulch on the roadway.”
A heavy-duty wrecker was called to the scene to get the truck back on its wheels.
