Today was the Military Commitment Recognition at General McLane High School.  The event honored seven students, including Maxwell Patterson who joined the Air Force, Trisha Jimenez who joined the Army, Mark Fisher who will join the Marines, and Tristan Beach, John Kaulis, Isiah Llyod, and Brendan Manchester have all committed to the US Navy.

Principal Dan Mennow says, “It’s such a wonderful thing and when we get in here, we want to hug every one of these kids. It’s such an honorable thing they’re doing and a sacrifice for our country and we just want to show them a special moment”.

This is the second year that General McLane High School has paid tribute to those students who will enter the military after graduation.
