ERIE, Pa. — What was first thought to be an attempted suicide is now suspected to be an attempted murder.
Police said a man was shot in the face around 9:30 a.m. In the 300 block of West Third Street. When police arrived, the man, whose identity was not released, was conscious and transferred to UPMC Hamot for treatment.
Police said there were three other people in the home at the time of the incident. They were taken to the police station to be interviewed.
