A Halloween Party with a superhero theme for all of the little superheroes at Shriner’s Hospital for Children in Erie.
The Gannon Greek Ball Committee and Spectrum Reach joined forces to host this special event. Patients at Shriner’s as well as the doctors dressed in their Halloween costumes for an afternoon of fun. More than 70 kids enjoyed games, pumpkin painting, cookie decorating, coloring and more.
Lacey Rovnak, Gannon Greek Ball Committee Member, says, “Just seeing all the kids dressed up in their costumes and they come in and they’re kinda shy, but once we start coloring with them and talking to them, they really open up and blossom, it’s really cute to see.”
At the end of the year, the Gannon Greek Committee will host a ball. All of the proceeds will be donated to Shriner’s.
