Master gardeners turned Headwaters Park into a real life Halloweentown.
Penn State Extension hosts the annual Pumpkin Walk.
Community members embark on a mile-long trip, filled with more than a thousand lit pumpkins.
Organizers said around 40 local organizations carve the pumpkins.
They tell us the event is the perfect fall activity for families.
“It’s a nice family-friendly event so it’s just fun. It’s fun to be in the woods at night and with the pumpkins glowing, it’s magical,” said Maria Blakeslee, a Penn State Master Gardener.
The Pumpkin Walk continues into Saturday. Admission is three dollars per person.
