State Trooper Killed, Suspect Dead

Pennsylvania State Police have confirmed that the suspect in the Friday night shooting of a state trooper, is now dead. No details have been released other than that the suspect is no longer at large, and is deceased. The suspect, 32 year old Jason Robison allegedly shot and killed State Trooper Landon Weaver while Weaver was on the scene of a PFA violation at a residence on Bakers Hollow Road in Huntington County. The scene is southeast of Altoona, about 150 miles SE of Erie. The suspect fled the scene after the shooting and a large manhunt ensued. 

Trooper Weaver had been on the force for about a year and was recently married. He is the 97th Pennsylvania State Trooper to be killed in the line of duty.
