Fairview High School students, administrators and community members came together today benefiting local organizations in a unity walk for the third annual Fairview Cares.

Fairview High School Principal Dale Lewis says the  program began in 2014 to benefit the regional cancer center.
He says this year, the fundraiser has branched out to four organizations; the Cancer Center, Blended Spirits Ranch, Emmaus Ministries and Shriners Hospitals for Children.

The students raised money through a change challenge and t-shirt sales. The goal this year is to raise $25 thousand dollars

All donations are collected by the Erie Community Foundation and will be distributed to the four non-profits shortly.
