The US Marine Corps Reserve Members and the State Police Troopers joining together once again for the annual Toys for Tots ‘Stuff the Cruiser’ event.
Thousands of toys already filling the bins at the US Marine Corps center on Old French Road, but collection efforts are far from over. Toys for Tots provided gifts to 4500 children last holiday season, but they say this year there’s a greater need.
They’re inviting the public to join the marines and troopers to help positively impact a child’s life. Susan Prichard, Events and Volunteer Coordinator for Toys for Tots, tells us, “That type of joy that we get knowing that they had that joy and they’re going to be able to give their children that hope for the holidays… it’s really something special and it’s really a gift to us as well”.
‘Stuff the Cruiser’ will take place on Saturday, October 21st between noon and four o’clock at Toys-R-Us in the Millcreek Mall complex.
