Teen robbery suspect will head to trial

Local News

The second teenager accused in an Erie Robbery is now heading to trial.

Investigators say 16-year-old Anthony Blanks and 17-year-old Elijousa Prinston were involved in an armed hold-up at a convenience store.

The crime happened at the CBK Variety Store on December 18th. Police say the teens pointed guns at the employee and demanded he take money from the store’s register.

Prinston waived his right to a preliminary hearing earlier this month. Today, Blanks did the same.

They’ll both face several charges in trial, including conspiracy to commit robbery and possessing a firearm without a license.
