Texas food company recalling 100,000 pounds of frozen chicken meals

A food company in Texas is recalling nearly 100,000 pounds of frozen chicken meals in steam bags because the labels do not disclose they contain eggs, a potential allergen.

The US Department of Agriculture announced the recall. 

VICS Acquisition is recalling the following:

  • Happi Foodi Bloody Mary Inspired Chicken
  • Southeast Grocer’s Brand Marsala Chicken
  • Southeast Grocer’s Brand Mediterranean Herb Chicken

People who bought them are warning against eating them and are asked to throw them out or return them to the stores their purchase location.
