For 15 years, the Kids as Curators even at the Erie Art Museum has been helping children find their inner artist. The event asks the kids to collect, research, and present objects in a way that says something about them as individuals.
This year the museum partnered with three local schools. Each school chose a theme that mattered to them and created their own exhibition. “This is a blessing for me because I get to see the kids every once in a while and learn their faces and what they’re into,”said director of education Carissa Brandt.
Over a hundred and fifty students took part in the event.
