The 9th annual Cardboard Regatta took place at the Bayfront Maritime Center. The event had 23 boats which were built at home by families, friends, and business groups.
“There’s food trucks here and there’s judges that will be judging these boats for the most creative and crowd favorite and the most dramatic sinking,” said Executive Director Rich Eisenberg.
The winner gets a trophy and bragging rights. It’s a chance to get out in the Waterfront and have some fun. All proceeds from the event go towards the Maritime Education Programs.
