Changes are coming to the Bayfront and the Erie Western Pennsylvania Port Authority is looking for input.
Monday the port authority posted the Bayfront Master Development and Facilities Plan online. The executive director Brenda Sandberg said they’ll leave the plans up for a month, taking feedback from community members. “It’s important for the community to give input into the development of the Bayfront because I believe the community understands that we all own the water and the Bayfront,” said Sandberg.
Development would include a boardwalk at Dobbin’s Landing with galleries and other shops, even a Ferris wheel. Sandberg said they’ll hold a public meeting to go over the feedback in December or January.
