It’s a great way to get your holiday shopping done while fighting animal cruelty. The Festi Fall is not your every day fundraising event it aims to help innocent puppies have a better life.

“We love it the vendors have been amazing the crafters came out in full force to support our mission and we’re hoping to get a large crowd,” said Secretary of Erie Puppy Mills Sherry Beliveau. This is their largest fundraiser of the year.

According to Erie Puppy Mills awareness group , inhumanely bred animals are shipped across state lines and into our hometown, to then be re-sold to unsuspecting customers. The group’s focus about the suffering that happens to breeding dogs in Puppy Mills.

“Dogs are abused and neglected in the Puppy Mills and there are tons of dogs out there to rescue we just hope that people use a reputable breeder or use a reputable rescue,” said Chair of the event Lisa Totleben.

The group encourages the people of Erie to use social media to unite activism and show support to all local rescue and adoption groups. All proceeds for the event will go to the education of the public and stopping Puppy Mills. If you would like to advocate for this cause and volunteer use the link below.
