The first “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” walk held to honor survivors

Local News

The first “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” walk was held at the Millcreek Mall.

The walk was held to celebrate loved ones who have battled breast cancer. 80 breast cancer survivors and 30 volunteers attended the event. The make up line Avon and the Pink Chevy Camaro had special giveaways for survivors.

“My mom was diagnosed about three years ago in October and just becoming a part of this journey was something overwhelming,” said Caroline Palmer.

All proceeds collected from the event will go towards Breast Cancer Research.
