The new Pre School for WPSD Children’s Center’s open house was held at Edinboro University

The open house to showcase the new pre school for WPSD Children’s Center was held at Edinboro University. The pre school will serve 3-5 year old who are deaf or hard of hearing. It will help children with language which will enable them to read and write.

The goal is to set up this children to later on become productive adults in society. 

“Together we use American sign language if we have a child who has more hearing we’ll use speech,” said deaf education teacher Kathie Sullivan.

Five students are enrolled in the pre school at the moment.
