The Presque Isle Express free shuttle is back up and running

Local News

You can hitch a ride around Presque Isle for free once again this summer.  The Presque Isle Express is back!

The shuttle, operated by EMTA, now has two buses services the route.  One will go from Beach 11 to Water Works; the other will go from West Erie Plaza, stop at TREC, and then head to Beach 11.

The shuttle is completely free.

Jeremy Peterson, Director of Operations EMTA, says, “Presque Isle is one of those staples in the Erie community and we need to value that. This is one way we can do that. Get folks that normally don’t have that mode of transportation to get downtown or to get to the West Erie Plaza or Presque Isle this give them that opportunity, that vehicle, to get them down there.”

The service starts June 12th and wraps up August 25th and only runs weekdays.
