The process of attempting to kill cancer cells with radio waves hits a wall

Local News

It appears that John Kanzius’ dream of creating a non-invasive way to kill cancer cells with radio waves is not moving forward.

The company that caught the patent from the Kanzius family originally wanted to start human trials in 2016, but that was stalled by a lawsuit.  The suit, between Baylor University and Neo Therma Oncology, has now been settled but there are no signs that the project is moving forward.

A story in the Erie Times News reports that even the radio wave generators housed at Baylor have now been taken by the company following the settlement.
