You can help raise awareness for an important cause and you already have what you need right in your wardrobe.
World Autism Awareness Day is celebrated each year on April 2nd and you are encouraged to wear blue to take part. The day was adopted by the United Nations in 2007 to shine a light on autism as a growing global health crisis.
Autism is one of only three health issues to be recognized with its own day by the United Nations. April is also Autism Awareness Month and many different events will be taking place in our region in the coming weeks.
