Trial postponed for man who allegedly shot and killed a woman while hunting

The case has been continued for a man charged with homicide.  Thomas Jadlowski of Sherman, New York reportedly admitted to police that he fired a single gunshot at what he thought was a deer in late November.  The bullet hit 43-year-old Rosemary Billquist, who was walking her dogs.

Jadlowski is charged with second-degree manslaughter and with violating New York hunting laws by firing after sunset.  Jadlowski posted bail after his arraignment and later pleaded not guilty.  The proceedings will continue February 9th in Chautauqua County Court.
