Two Erie restaurants are closing their doors.  After nine years of business, Summer House Cafe on Washington Avenue is closing their doors for good.

That will happen this Sunday at two o’clock.  Owners Jack Eaker and Stephanie Potous-Eaker say they’re ready to move onto the next phase of life.

Also closing is The Cork in North East.  The restaurant will become the Skun and Goat Tavern.  Owners expect the new tavern to be opening sometime in February.  Then, in spring, a new location of The Cork will open in the West Erie Plaza.
