Two men accused of first homicide of 2019 have charges bound over for trial

The two men charged with the first homicide in Erie in 2019 have been bound over for trial.

34-year-old Nicholas Raines of Albion and 38-year-old Pittsburgh Area Native Louis Rauch are charged with the January 7th shooting death of Jeffrey Miller.

It took place in the 400 block of Chestnut Street.  Investigators believe that drugs were at the center of the dispute. 

The men face charges that include the death of Miller and conspiracy to commit robbery.
