Police are searching for two men who robbed the Erie Federal Credit Union on Buffalo Road at gun point just after 10 a.m. Thursday.
Police said two black men, who were both wearing ski masks, jumped the counter of the Erie Federal Credit Union, 2436 Buffalo Road, before fleeing on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.
The suspects were last seen heading south from Buffalo Road, according to police.
Police believe the men tried to rob the Northwest Savings Bank on West 26th and Peach streets about 15 minutes prior to the Buffalo Road incident, but they were unable to get into the building after the doors were locked.
One of the suspects is believed to be a black male, over 6 feet tall, and wearing a black hoodie.
The other is said to be around 5 feet, 10 inches and wearing a blue hoodie.
