The accident happened at the intersection of West 12th and Liberty, just before eight this morning. A seven-year-old boy and an adult male both hit by a car as they crossed a bustling West 12th Street.
It is believed that the vehicle was heading north on Liberty and turned left into the two as they crossed. Both were taken to UPMC Hamot, but the seven-year-old was later flown to Pittsburgh for treatment.
No word yet on their identities or the severity of their injuries.
