Two people charged with the death of an 85-year-old man want their cases tossed.
Investigators say 33-year-old Antonio McLaurin and 29-year-old Elizabeth Taylor severely neglected 85-year-old Vincent Force, then buried him in the ground behind a house.
Force’s body was found wrapped in plastic in a shallow grave in July.
McLaurin and Taylor are both charged with homicide, neglect of care, and aggravated assault. But, their attorney says the Commonwealth cannot prove the defendants were legally obligated to provide care to Force.
They’re asking the judge to dismiss several of the most serious charges.
