Tyrone Buchanan, accused of assaulting a man with quadriplegia on Christmas day, will head to trial

A man charged in two violent attacks on Christmas morning is now heading to trial. 

18-year-old Tyrone Buchanan is accused of assaulting several people on Christmas day, including an Erie Police Officer. Investigators say the defendant broke a wine glass over a man’s head who is quadriplegic. 

Buchanan faces numerous charges including aggravated assault and making terroristic threats.  He is currently being held in Erie County Prison.
