Value of yacht club drops by over $300,000, judge says it will stay as-is

An Erie County Judge determines the property value of a local yacht club will stay as is.

In 2012, the Erie County Assessment Board issued a deduction lowering the property value of the Commodore Perry Yacht Club.  That land is owned by the Port Authority.

The value dropped from more than $963,000 to around $635,000.  Both agencies filed an appeal shortly after.  But, this afternoon, Judge William Cunningham determined the property will remain at the value established by the assessment board.
