Vigil will be held tonight for Amanda Grazioli

Local News

Community members will gather tonight to remember the life of a young woman killed in her home.

A ‘Take Back the Site’ vigil will be held for Amanda Grazioli tonight.  The Benedictine Sisters of Erie, Sisters of Saint Joseph, and the Sisters of Mercy reclaim the site for nonviolence with prayer after an act of violence takes place.

It was March 8th that Amanda’s husband, John Grazioli, went to Saint Peter Cathedral where he requested to talk to a priest.  At that time, Grazioli reportedly confessed to the killing and police were called.  He is now in prison awaiting the trial for her murder.

Amanda worked the front desk at iRock Fitness and is being remembered for her commitment to helping animals.

The vigil is scheduled for 5:15pm at 5843 Forest Crossing in the Whispering Woods subdivision off of Grubb Road.  The vigil will last about 15 minutes.
