A man goes nearly 80 feet in the air to save a bird in need.
Residents on Windy Lane in North East voiced their concerns to the public after spotting a blue heron stuck on a power line yesterday afternoon. Neighbors say they reached out to several offices asking for help, but had no luck.
It wasn’t until this morning that Walker’s Tree and Ground Services came to the rescue. The business owner strapped himself to machinery and grabbed the bird off of the power line.
The bird is alive but severely injured.
