WCTL Radio recognized by Senator Laughlin

Local News

Erie’s only christian radio station is recognized today for serving the community.  Senator Dan Laughlin presented WCTL Radio with a citation from the State Senate on its celebration of 50 years on the air.

The Senator not only presented the award, he also took time to read it over the air to listeners.  The radio station’s General Manager, Adam Q. Frase, was honored to accept the recognition.  “The leadership team, the board and staff that works together and, really, it’s the hand of the Lord on the ministry that attributes to our success and we look forward to the future as well”.

Laughlin says, “just the fact that they have been doing great things in our community as a chritisian radio station, I think that is pretty nice and I would like everyone to support them the best they can”.

WCTL was started in Erie in 1967 under the vision of George Smith, a local radio engineer.
