Wife and victim Amanda Grazioli remembered fondly by those who knew her…

Local News

As the community is left stunned by this senseless death, those close to Amanda Grazioli are sharing how they’ll remember her.  Nothing but wonderful things, one friend of Amanda’s even describing her as a “light” to be around.

Looking at pictures of Amanda Schmitt Grazioli on her Facebook page, there’s no question that she loved her dogs, her family, and her life.

Just one month ago as a part of our Motivational Monday segment on Good Morning, Erie, JET 24 interviewed Amanda about her clothing business, ‘House of Gold Apparel’. A company founded by Amanda and her sister, Allison, aimed at bringing awareness and funding to local charities.  The company slogan, ‘Be Good People, Buy Good Things’.

Annette Brinkler, Friend of Amanda, says, “She was always bubbly and just never had a bad day. She was always happy.”

In addition to the clothing business she had with her sister, Amanda worked the reception desk at iRock Fitness.  Brinkler tells us, “When you walked in that back door and you were checking in for class, she just always had the biggest smile on her face. You couldn’t help it, it was contagious and you just smiled right back and she just always made your day better, no matter what.”

Jake McLaughlin, of iRock Fitness says, “She could always brighten up the day with her smile and just her personality in general. Very outgoing and could just light up a room very easily for us… she’ll be dearly missed.”

And when they think about not seeing that smile anymore…  Brinkler says, “Knowing that you’re going to come in here and she’s just not going to be here anymore…”

Owners of iRock Fitness, Matt and Anthony Pribonic, releasing a statement on their Facebook page today saying, in part, “We are in shock and so deeply saddened by the loss of our dear friend, Amanda.  Amanda was gentle, kind, and cared greatly for everyone”.

Though she is gone much too soon, it is clear that Amanda Grazioli’s bright, beautiful smile will never be forgotten.
